BJP’s special focus on dists of eastern Rajasthan for polls

Jaipur: BJP has put special focus on Eastern Rajasthan in the upcoming assembly elections. The party has done ticket distribution according to leaders of Gurjar community. The community had voted for Cong in 2018 but the community seems to be with BJP. Therefore, despite the defeat in last polls, BJP has fielded its old face in Dausa. Similar things have been done in Sikrai, Mahwa & Lalsot.

The party fielded Hem S Bhadana in Thanagaji which comes under Dausa LS seat. The party has also banked on Gurjar faces in Karauli, Gangapur City and Nagar. BJP also gave tickets to three leaders who were at the forefront during the Gurjar agitation- Vijay Bainsla from Deoli-Uniara, Mansingh Gurjar from Gangapur City and Jawahar Singh Bedam from Nagar.
