BJP’s RS MPs have always advocated for Raj, say leaders
Jaipur: BJP’s Rajya Sabha candidates Madan Rathore and Chunnilal Garasia filed their nominations on Thursday. During this, 40 MLAs including BJP’s National V-P and former CM Vasundhara Raje and CM Bhajan Lal Sharma were present.
BJP leader Rajendra Rathore told media, “Nominations of both the candidates have been filed today. There is every possibility that the election will be held unopposed. Despite having surplus votes, only two candidates were fielded as horse trading is the nature of Congress and not of BJP.” He added that Congress sent a candidate who has no knowledge about geography of Raj. “No Congress leader from Raj spoke in RS. Whereas BJP’s RS MPs have always advocated for Rajasthan,” he said.
