BJP’s protest for widows of Pulwama heroes turns violent

Jaipur: The widows of soldiers killed in the 2019 Pulwama attack are protesting in Jaipur, demanding jobs for families, and other issues. Scores of BJP workers and leaders were detained by Rajasthan Police on Saturday as the saffron party continued its mega protest in Jaipur over the issue. BJP workers pelted stones and breached barricades, prompting the police to resort to lathicharge. Dy LoP Rajendra Rathore, State BJP Chief Satish Poonia, other BJP workers were detained.
