BJP’s gain, Congress & RLP’s pain!
Jaipur: The ‘rush’ of people joining BJP has surprised the ruling Congress and other parties. On Monday, 10 leaders who left Congress and RLP joined BJP. For the last six months, as part of the effort to strengthen the clan, leaders and faces who have left bureaucracy and joined the politics are being included in the BJP.
There are two types of strategies behind increasing the ‘clan’ of the party; one is to search for candidates on those seats where BJP is weak and second is to increase its strength by weakening the opponents. The same strategy is visible in the inclusion of 10 leaders on Monday. An attempt has been made to shock Hanuman Beniwal by including more than half a dozen leaders of RLP.
By including powerful leaders like Khinvsar Pradhan Seema Choudhary, Mundwa Pradhan Geeta Devi and Jagdish Bidiasar Sarpanch of Bojas into the party, BJP has directly breached the RLP clan. It is believed that there are names of some more leaders from this party who will join hands with BJP.
Along with this, in an effort to increase the Jat vote bank, an attempt has been made to increase its supremacy among the Jats by including Antar Singh Nehra, who came out of bureaucracy and entered politics as a Jat face. The most surprising name is that of Brahmin leader Suresh Mishra. BJP can use Mishra as a Brahmin card across the state. Mishra is considered a powerful Brahmin leader and is recognized throughout the state. Mishra himself was in the queue for ticket from Congress. He is considered the closest leader of Sachin Pilot.
