‘BJP to lose in Raj worse than K’taka’

Jaipur: Addressing the Congress meeting virtually on Saturday, CM Ashok Gehlot said that there is a lot of difference in ‘govt can come and govt is coming’. “It makes a difference. You have to work hard for it. Public perception has changed with the schemes of the govt. I know where we are weak and where we are good,” he said.

Raj Congress president GSS Dotasra said many in the party maintain friendship with BJP and RSS. “Some of our people maintain friendship with RSS-BJP. I know this. Officers are changed at the behest of BJP office bearers and MLAs, but it is not done when Cong workers or MLA say. When we go to field, we get to hear these things,” Dotasra said.

Dotasra also said that if the Congress wins the assembly elections, it will be because of the party organisation. He said the condition of BJP in the Rajasthan assembly elections will be worse than in Karnataka. He said the Congress would retain power in the northern state.

Lashing out at PM Narendra Modi’s proposed meeting in the Jatdominated Nagaur district later this month, he said PM should have declared Mangarh dham a national museum during his Mangarh visit and should have announced ERCP a national project.

Congress in-charge for Rajasthan Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said the newly appointed office bearers have been asked to publicise schemes of the state government.
