BJP to announce RS candidate on August 21 ahead of elections

Jaipur: Ahead of the RS polls, the BJP has announced that its candidate will file nominations on August 21, though the name is yet to be finalised. BJP state president Madan Rathore confirmed receipt of the party symbol and assured that the candidate’s name will be decided soon. “The name will be finalised following official procedures and within the scheduled time frame,” Rathore stated.

He highlighted that the party leadership will make the final decision, expressing confidence in their strong majority. The announcement has intensified anticipation as the BJP prepares to reveal its Rajya Sabha candidate.
