BJP submits memo regarding increasing crimes in the State

Jaipur: A BJP delegation led by leader of opposition Rajendra Rathore on Sunday submitted a memorandum to Governor Kalraj Mishra demanding strict action against the government over increasing crimes against women in the state. The party leaders assembled at the party’s state headquarters from there they reached Raj Bhavan and submitted the memorandum to the Governor.

“Within the last 48 hours, incidents of women’s atrocities and rape have taken place at 13 different places in Rajasthan, every 48 hours a case of women’s harassment in some corner of the state is being reported. A terrible incident has happened in Peepalkhunt of Pratapgarh district,” Rathore told reporters after submitting a memorandum.

Rathore said that after registering the FIR in cases, investigation remains pending for a long time.
