Jaipur: Among around a dozen leaders who joined BJP here on Saturday, former mayor of Jaipur Jyoti Khandelwal has contested the MP election from Jaipur, while Chandrashekhar Baid’s father Chandanmal Baid has been an 8-time MLA.

Ravindra Singh Bhati, former student union president of Jaynarayan Vyas University, Nandlal Poonia, former MLA of Rajgarh and senior Congress leader, Dr. Hari Singh Saharan, Congress leader Sanwarmal Mahariya, Laxmangarh Congress Block President Jitendra Singh, former IPS officers Kesar Singh Shekhawat and Bhim Singh Bika took membership of the party.

Apart from them, state spokesperson of AAP Jaipal Singh Mandota, state vice president of AAP Youth Wing Dharmendra Singh Rathore, state executive member and district joint secretary of AAP Party Somendra Singh Chauhan, national president of All India Tent Decoration & Welfare Association Ravi Jindal and Congress Ward 41 president Kishore Singh Shekhawat also joined the BJP.
