BJP holds ‘Jan Akrosh’ workshop

Jaipur: The Opposition BJP in Rajasthan is geared up to corner the Ashok Gehlot led Congress government on its fourth anniversary through Jan Aakrosh rallies which will be taken out in all 200 assembly constituencies from December 1. BJP state president Satish Poonia addressed a workshop of coordinators and co-coordinators of all organisational districts to review the preparations of the rally. Poonia addressed the party leaders and said that the people of the state are fed up with the Congress government and want a change. He said that there is not only anti-incumbency, but a huge resentment among the people. He said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had promised to waive farmers loans within ten days of government formation but the farmers are still waiting for the promise to get fulfilled. The BJP leader said that when Gandhi comes to Rajasthan during his yatra, he should tell people what happened to the promises made by the party in the last assembly elections. The campaign against the state government will be launched from November 25. A social media campaign will be run during this. The party will hold a press conference at the party office on November 26 in Jaipur and the party leaders will hold the press conferences in districts on November 27.
