BJP condemns Pratapgarh girls’ suicide, rise in crime
Jaipur: BJP national secretary Dr. Alka Singh Gurjar has raised serious concerns about the rising crimes against women in Rajasthan. She highlighted distressing incidents, such as the recent suicides of two tribal minor girls in Pratapgarh due to teasing and harassment.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters, Dr. Gurjar accused the Congress-led state government of neglecting the alarming increase in crimes against women.
Citing National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data, Dr. Gurjar revealed that Rajasthan consistently tops the list for crime cases, with over 10 lakh incidents of harassment in the last 54 month.
