Jaipur: BJP’s national general secretary (Org) BL Santhosh instructed that all mandal presidents should be declared first, followed by the announcement of district presidents in the state.

After this, he said, the election for the state president will take place, even if it leads to delays. Santhosh said that the 50 percent formula will not be accepted in the election process.

Santhosh gave five days to the election officials to announce the remaining approximately 1,000 mandal presidents. He pointed out that 33 districts have already declared their mandal presidents, but in many of these districts, only partial lists have been completed, with some mandals still without leaders. Santhosh conducted a state-level meeting with district election officers and observers at the BJP state office on Sunday.

He praised the party’s work in Rajasthan, stating that the BJP has a long-standing legacy in the state and that the public appreciates its efforts.

He also noted that BJP organisations in other states draw inspiration from Rajasthan’s model However, the party leader said, some mandal election processes are yet to be completed and urged that the priority should be to finalize the mandal structure across the State.

Following the meeting, Santosh held discussions with BJP National Vice-President and former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, State In-Charge Dr. Radha Mohan Das Agrawal and State President Madan Rathore. Radha Mohan Das Agrawal discussed the party’s upcoming celebration of Samvidhan Gaurav Diwas. He asked the newly appointed office bearers to highlight how the Congress had tampered with the Constitution over 60 years and mistreated Dr B.R. Ambedkar. BJP State President Madan Rathore, in his address, discussed the ongoing programs under the ‘Sangathan Parv 2024’ initiative, which has been running for the past two and a half months. He also encouraged district election officers for their commendable work.
