BJP again rakes up Red Diary row in Assembly

Jaipur: BJP MLAs created ruckus during Zero Hour in the Assembly over the issue of Red Diary. Due to the uproar, Speaker had to adjourn the proceedings of the House for half an hour twice.

LoP Rajendra Rathore mentioned the Red Diary while raising the matter with an adjournment motion. PHED Min Mahesh Joshi, Parl Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal and Cong State Prez Govind S Dotasra raised strong objections as soon as Rathore raised the issue.

“Even today some unanswered questions come up and in that the question of the dignity of the House also arises. The question of the dignity of the ruling party also arises. The member of ruling party wants to table Red diary that was snatched away. This is also not fair,” Rathore said.

Joshi said that this is the height of lying. “It has become a training institute for BJP to tell lies. Which red diary was it? Who snatched?,” he said.

Minister Shanti Dhariwal said that processes for tabling are also fixed. Pointing to his table, Dhariwal said, “Is the table here or there? Where is the tabling done?” he said. Later Rathore demanded FSL and ED probe of the pages released by Gudha.
