Biker throws acid on 2 girls in diff incidents

Jaipur: An unidentified bike-borne assailant carried out an acid attack in broad daylight on two women in different locations in Jaipur on Saturday. Both women have been hospitalised. In the CCTV footage accessed, a bike-borne assailant can be seen fleeing the spot after committing the crime.

The incident happened near Vatika Road area under the Sanganer Sadar police station area. The attack was carried out by the unidentified culprit in two separate locations 1 km apart, said the police. ACP Chaksu KK Awasthi said that both girls are out of danger. “Both girls were discharged from the hospital. The investigation is underway to track down suspect,” he said.
