Big gang that targeted foreign tourists busted

Jaipur: On December 2, 2022, miscreants extorted Rs 29.50 lakh from a Japanese tourist by threatening him with being implicated in a drug case. Three miscreants have now been arrested in connection with the crime.

According to Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph, in the matter of recovering money from a foreign tourist, the accused Asghar Khan, Sharif Back, and Kayum have been detained.

All miscreants were apprehended in a raid on Thursday night.

The search is underway for their three companions who are fleeing the scene.
