BHANKROTA FIRE TOLL MOUNTS TO 15 AS TWO MORE VICTIMS DIE
Jaipur: The pain of the Bhankrota fire tragedy continues to deepen as two more victims, Yusuf and Naresh Babu, succumbed to their injuries at SMS Hospital. Both had sustained severe burns, with 80 to 90 percent of their bodies affected. These two deaths bring the total toll to 15 lives lost in the incident.
As of now, 18 patients remain under treatment at the hospital, with 5 to 6 in critical condition. Initially, 23 patients were admitted for treatment, out of which 3 have been discharged after their condition improved. Despite the doctors' best efforts, two critically injured patients could not be saved.
The medical team, led by senior plastic surgeon Dr RK Jain, continues to provide intensive care to those still in the ICU. Dr. Jain mentioned that two more patients are expected to be discharged on Tuesday. The entire team is working relentlessly to save the remaining patients, though the situation remains dire for those in critical condition.
