Bhajan Lal govt to deliver ‘Modi ki Guarantee’

Jaipur: The Bhajan Lal Government will present its Vote on Account (budget) for the financial year 2024-25 till June in the Assembly today. The budget is expected to make some important announcements regarding the four categories mentioned by PM Narendra Modi i.e. poor, farmers, women and youth. Concrete steps can also be taken in the Vote on Account to stop revenue leakage and improve financial management. However, excessive announcements will be avoided in Vote on Account. Finance Minister Diya Kumari on Wednesday finalised the Vote on Account after two days of continuous meetings with all the officials of the Finance Dept. In her Vote on Account speech, Diya may make announcements related to the work done so far in the 100-day action plan made on the instructions of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and 4 categories mentioned by PM Modi. In fact, due to the Lok Sabha elections, the state government had also decided to take vote on account on the lines of the Centre. After LS polls, the new Central government will present the full general budget, only after that full budget of State will be presented.
