New Delhi/Jaipur: A tripartite MoU was signed in New Delhi on Saturday in the presence of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar. Under this MoU signed between the Central Government, Haryana Government and Rajasthan Government, it was agreed to prepare DPR for the flow system from Tajewala. After the implementation of this scheme, Rajasthan will be able to get Yamuna river water from Tajewala head-works and the water that gets wasted during rains will also be utilized properly.

Expressing happiness after the MoU, CM Sharma said that the project will provide Yamuna river water to 3 districts of the state namely Sikar, Churu and Jhunjhunu through underground pipelines. He said that this project will prove beneficial for both the states.
