‘Bhajan' Council of Ministers expanded, trust on new faces more than experienced ones

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Saturday undertook the first expansion of his Council of Ministers. Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath of office and secrecy to 12 cabinet and 10 state ministers and 5 state ministers (Independent charge) in a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan. After a long brainstorming, CM surprised everyone by giving 17 MLAs a chance to become ministers for the 1st time. In most shocking decision, CM played a master stroke by making Surendra Pal Singh TT candidate from Karanpur, a minister. TT has been a minister earlier also but contrary to expectations, he has been included in Council of Ministers. There are now 25 members in Council of Ministers. According to rules, a maximum 30 mins can be made.
