Awareness Program Pakhwada & Pledge Against Drug Abuse by NCB Jodhpur in Context of 39th raising day NCB on 17th March 2024

Rajasthan (Jodhpur & Jaipur): Under the esteemed guidance of Sh. Ghanasyam Soni, IRS, NCB Jodhpur & Jaipur, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Jodhpur in the context of General awareness Pakhwada, conducted with a poignant awareness program and pledge against drug abuse. 

The event, held today at the BSF Subsidiary Training Centre in Jodhpur, aimed to emphasize the importance of combating drug abuse in our society. The initiative commenced with a meeting between the NCB team and the Inspector General (IG) of the Subsidiary Training Centre (STC), Border Security Force (BSF), Jodhpur. Discussions centered on the crucial role of collaborative efforts in addressing the menace of drug abuse.

Following the meeting, an enlightening session was conducted by the NCB team, targeting approximately 500 BSF recruits. The session highlighted the detrimental effects of drug abuse and underscored the significance of leading a drug-free life. Through interactive discussions and informative presentations, attendees gained insights into the grave consequences associated with drug addiction.

A pivotal moment of the event was the collective pledge taken by all participants, including the BSF recruits, to abstain from drug abuse. This pledge reaffirmed through an electronic pledge (e-pledge), symbolized a unified commitment towards fostering a drug-free environment.
