ATS nabs PFI supporter Sohel Bhisti
Jaipur: The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Rajasthan Police has arrested a supporter of banned organisation Popular Front of India (PFI) who was allegedly encouraging individuals to engage in anti-national activities on social media.
The ATS has also confiscated 2 mobile phones from suspect, which were reportedly used for carrying out anti-national activities on social media.
During investigation, Sohail Bhisti was found involved in inciting people and encouraging antinational actions through social media. Evidence of his affiliation with PFI and connection in foreign also surfaced.
The 22-year old accused has been placed under arrest and is currently being interrogated.
