As LSD spreads in buffaloes, Kataria sounds alert

Jaipur: Animal Husbandry Minister Lalchand Kataria on Thursday held a review meeting regarding the lumpy skin disease spreading among the cattle in the state. During a meeting through video conferencing, Kataria said measures should be taken to prevent disease. Besides, monitoring should also be done for infection in buffaloes & speed up vax in districts. In meeting, Kataria said disease is now spreading in buffaloes as well. “Some cases of disease in buffaloes have been reported. This is a matter of concern, so buffaloes will now be monitored,” he said. Additional Directors & Joint Directors of Dists also attended meeting.
