A two-lane underpass and two pedestrian subways will be constructed on Tonk road from Sabzi Mandi road near Laxmi Mandir Tiraha for about 400 metres at a cost of Rs 81.25 crore. The project is slated to be completed within 18 months.

Project Consultant and famous architect Anoop Bartaria, while elaborating further on the project plans, said that hundreds of vehicles pass through various intersections on a daily basis and a lot of fuel is wasted in this entire exercise.
