Agri Minister Kataria takes stock of PMFBY

Jaipur: Agriculture Minister Lal Chand Kataria reviewed the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana & directed insurance firms to settle claim of farmers at earliest. During the meet held at Pant Krishi Bhawan about crop damage by recent rains & hailstorm, he said, “In last 4 years, claims of Rs. 1.72 cr crop insurance policy holders have been approved by Raj govt while an amount of Rs. 18,470 cr have been distributed as insurance claims. Max claims have been distributed in Hanumangarh District.”
