‘Agni-Pariksha’ for Bhaskar A Sawant as ‘head’ of 3 discoms
Jaipur: It seems that a ‘Agni-Pariksha’ is going on of Chief Energy Secretary Bhaskar A. Sawant! Management of “Power” is a big challenge for Sawant as the power sector is struggling with Coal Purchase Crisis. In RVUNL, there is no “decision-maker” on any post from top to bottom. Sawant himself as Principal Energy Secy is handling entire management of RVUNL.
The concern is that the term of the “head” of all three discoms is going to be completed soon. If the trend continues like before, then the discoms will also become headless. However, in this crisis, the ‘young brigade’ of RVPNL CMD Ashutosh AT Pednekar and IAS Artika Shukla are getting support of Sawant. But the “experts” of the energy sector are not considering the situation “perfect”, because the next two months important in terms of revenue.
