After tenure extension of CS Sharma, reshuffle likely in Raj bureaucracy

Jaipur: CS Usha Sharma has got an extension in service for next six months.
The DoP issued an order on Friday.

Usha Sharma, an IAS officer of 1985 batch, was to retire on June 30.
The State government has forwarded a proposal to the Central government seeking extension in her service which was accepted.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) of the Central government had sent a letter to Principal Secretary, DoP, Rajasthan government on June 28, informing that the Centre has accepted the proposal of the State government dated June 16, for extension in service of Sharma.

Meanwhile, Sharma reached the Secretariat on Friday after extension.
“I will fulfil whatever responsibility is given to me with dutifulness and integrity,” she told First India.

Principal Secretary Anand Kumar also met CS and gave best wishes.
After the extension of Chief Secretary, Usha Sharma’s term, a transfer list of IAS officers is expected soon.

IAS officers Inderjeet Singh, Neha Giri have returned after studying abroad, while Anandhi has returned from the deputation. Collectors of some districts may be changed. At the same time, 16 officers including Rajendra Kumar Verma, who became an IAS officer from an RAS, have to be given promotion posting.
