After 3 years, Gehlot govt blows the student union election bugle in state!
Jaipur: For nearly the past three years, the political activities in Colleges and universities of the state had come to a halt. With Corona creating havoc in lives, it was not possible to hold elections for student unions. However, on Friday, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took a decision which brought smiles to the young leaders hoping to get their first break in the political realm.

In view of the demand of student organizations, and to increase the understanding of the democratic process in the students, to conduct student union elections in universities and colleges. All student organizations should participate in the election with enthusiasm and follow the guidelines of the respective college and university.” Gehlot also wished his best to the students. Notably, the last student union elections were held in 2019.
