Action on DMart for third day by food safety dept & Saras officials

Jaipur: Continuous action is being taken by the Food Safety Department regarding spurious Ghee.

During the search operation at DMart located at Triton Mall in Jhotwara on Saturday, team found 2 liters of fake Saras Ghee, which was seized. Representatives of Saras Dairy have also reached the spot. Along with this, investigation of ghee of other companies is also being done. FIR against DMart at Triton Mall is also being clubbed with previous FIR by Saras Dairy officials.

Similarly, when the Food Safety Department team and Saras Dairy team inspected Anuj Trading Company located at Kukarkheda, 430 packets of one liter and another 230 packets of half liter Saras Ghee were found in the shop, which was manufactured by Ajmer Dairy.

Saras Ghee manufactured by Jaipur Saras Dairy was not found. Saras team declared it correct and Ajmer Saras Dairy was informed for complete investigation. One sample of each packet was taken. This ghee has been stopped from sale till the investigation report comes.
