ACS Shubhra launches spl drive to combat pharma drug misuse

Jaipur: Under the directive of ACS (Health) Shubhra Singh, a major campaign kicks off on Monday across Rajasthan, including the capital city of Jaipur, to curb the misuse of pharmaceutical drugs.

The campaign, coordinated by Drug Controllers Ajay Phatak and Rajaram Sharma, involves extensive inspection activities. Responsibilities have been assigned to all Assistant Drug Controllers (ADC) for a twoweek campaign. District administrations, police, and other departments will collaborate in effort.

Each Deputy Drug Controller (DDC) will oversee inspections at three institutions, focusing on the procurement and sale of drugs, bill verification, quality checks, and sample collection to prevent misuse.
