ACS: RSGL must provide natural gas services in industrial areas

Jaipur: ACS Mines & Petroleum, Veenu Gupta while presiding over the 37th BoG meeting of RSGL at Udyog Bhawan, expressed the need for Rajasthan State Gas to provide natural gas services in industrial areas in coordination with RIICO. She said that this will promote green energy, reduce dependence on power supply and also reduce the cost of electricity. Finance Secretary Revenue Krishnakant Pathak said that RSGL should conduct awareness activities to make the general public aware of the cost and other benefits of using CNG-PNG gas. RSGL MD Ranveer Singh said that in 5 months, from April to August, 1, 646 new PNG connections and 13 commercial PNG connections have been issued.
