ACS health seeks report of blood shortage in SMS

Jaipur: Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Shubhra Singh sought a factual report from drug department regarding shortage of blood.

After news published in First India, the ACB sought a factual report on the matter following which the department started collecting reports from the field. Drug officers reached Sawai Man Singh Hospital and other blood banks on the day of holiday to collect reports about the availability of blood. They took data of the last six month.

A report about blood donation camps scheduled to be organised in the next two days was also sent to the IHTM’s Head of the Department (HoD) of SMS hospital.
