ACS Agarwal, PHED Minister express displeasure with inefficient dept officials

Jaipur: Additional Chief Secretary PHED Subodh Agarwal reprimanded Superintendent Engineer Satish Jain over his poor functioning and warned for suspension saying he has permission from minister for the same.

The ACS also sought reports of various works from Jain. Sources said that disciplinary action could be taken against Satish Jain very soon.

PHED minister Mahesh Joshi is also unhappy with the functioning of SE Jain. In the meeting, he reprimanded him saying he considers himself above chief engineer.

He said that Jain only talks and does not do any work. The ACS said that Jain takes the official work as a part time job, and only makes excuses. He also scolded Jain for repeated shutdowns.

He said that in the name of shutdown, he got the department defamed in the whole city. Agrawal also targeted ACE Arun Srivastava. Executive Engineer Girish Jain misled the PHED minister over the progress of some work. During a recent meeting at his residence, the minister sought a report about some projects in Karbala area.
