Achieve revenue targets, Dy CM Bairwa tells transport officials

Jaipur: Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Transport and Road Safety, Dr Prem Chand Bairwa, on Wednesday took a review meeting with transport officials in Secretariat and said that Rajasthan’s commitment to achieving revenue targets will propel the state towards development with a 100 per cent revenue attainment.

Dr Bairwa emphasized the need for fieldwork, teamwork, and a transparent approach, instructing department to work with a policy of zero tolerance. The Dy CM directed officials to compile a list of pending vehicles, issue notices to vehicle owners, and take necessary actions. In the meeting, ACS Sreya Guha directed RTOs and DTOs to regularly monitor the work of their subordinate officers and prepare action plans to achieve the revenue targets in the remaining two months and if targets are not achieved, disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned.
