Accused on the run after robbing businesman of Rs 33 lakh held by cops in Jaipur

Jaipur: The police have nabbed Sandeep Singh, the mastermind in the case of robbery of Rs 33 lakhs by putting chilli powder in a businessman’s eyes.

He has been absconding for the past 23 days. The police had set a reward of Rs 15,000 for the culprit. During the accused’s interrogation, it was revealed that in order to avoid the police, he traveled to five other states. On March 1, a heist occurred involving businessman Garv Khandelwal, in the parking lot of Dhanshri Tower where three miscreants threw chilli powder in his eyes and robbed him off 33 lakh rupees. Information concerning Sandeep Singh being in the Kardhani police station area was received by the cops, following which the criminal was apprehended by the police.
