Accused arrested within 48 hours of the incident

Jaipur: Jaipur Police have arrested the accused of the tragic hit-and-run case. The culprit Mangesh Arora alias Nikhil runs a clothing showroom in Mansarovar. He is accused of crushing a girl Uma Suthar- with his SUV early Tuesday morning.

DCP East Gyanchand Yadav said that the accused Mangesh has been arrested. However, he did not disclose the location where he was caught.

He stated that the police took swift action upon receiving the information. Raids were conducted at potential hideouts, leading to the discovery of crucial documents. Based on this evidence, the accused was located. Police teams were dispatched to multiple locations in the state during the extensive search operation and raids were conducted at several places linked to the accused.

The family members of the accused, including his brother and father, were also questioned. Despite the accused turning off his mobile phone after the incident, and fleeing the city, the police successfully tracked him down.
