Accept their resignations: BJP councillors

Jaipur: The dharna by the Mayor of JMC Heritage and other Congress councillors against the additional commissioner Rajendra Verma continued on Monday. BJP councillors also held a demonstration against the dhanra of the Congress councillors. They asked when the Congress councillors had given resignations, then why they were sitting on dharna at the corporation’s head office. The BJP councillors sat in front of the Congress dharna. On one hand, the Congress councillor raised the demand for suspension of the addl commissioner while on the other hand, BJP councilors demanded the state government to accept resignations of Congress councillors.

Meanwhile, the RAS Association demanded security for officers working in JMCH. Association president Gaurav Bajad said that Rajendra Kumar Verma was on leave on May 30 and therefore was not able to sign the file.
