ACB nabs female & male constables while taking Rs 4,000 bribe in Jaipur

Jaipur: The ACB arrested a female and a male constable of Jawahar Circle police station red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 4,000 on Saturday. Both the constables were demanding Rs 5,000 for settlement of the complaint. Both the constables were repeatedly calling and threatening the complainant, after which the aggrieved complainant approached the ACB. On the complaint, ACB carried out the trap operation in the Jawahar Circle police station itself. ACB ADG Hemant Priyadarshi said that the complainant informed ACB that a complaint was registered against him in Jawahar Circle.

The investigation of which was with constables Sangeeta and Vedprakash. Both of them were calling him one by one and asking for money, whereas in the complaint filed against him, both the parties reached an agreement.
