ACB files challan on Sanjay Jain over MLAs horsetrading

Jaipur: In the famous case related to horsetrading of MLAs to topple the State government, the ACB has filed a chargesheet against accused Sanjay Jain, resident of Lunkaransar in Bikaner, who acted as a mediator in luring the MLAs with money. Investigation officer SP Yogesh Dadhich has kept the investigation pending against Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, considered accused in the case by the ACB. In ACB Court-01, Judge Upendra Sharma accepted the challan and given March 1 date for the cognizance debate.

On behalf of the ACB, the court was also told that an application had been submitted in the subordinate court for taking the voice sample of Sanjay Jain and GS Shekhawat, which was rejected by the court. The ACB also told the court that in the case, on July 13, 2020, the mobile phone of Sanjay Jain was taken under surveillance.
