ACB action: Tehsildar, Enforcement inspector & five others booked

Jaipur/Udaipur: The Anti Corruption Bureau has booked Kotra Tehsildar Prakash Kumar Patel in a case for demanding bribe. The accused had demanded a bribe of Rs 1 lakh from the complainant in lieu of an official work. The bureau verified the complaint and has lodged a case against Patel.

In another incident, the bureau also filed a case against enforcement inspector of Kota Logistics Department Krishna Kumar Yadav for demand of Rs 10,000 bribe from the complainant. The bribe was demanded in exchange for restoration of licence of ration shop, said ACB’ ASP Vijay Swarnkar.

Meanwhile, the bureau team is thoroughly investigating the files in Municipality Paota Pragpura. Investigation is going on under the leadership of DSP Parmeshwar Yadav.

In another incident, the ACB also did a surprise check in Municipality Viratnagar on Friday and filed a case against five people including Executive Officer Manisha Yadav, Chairperson Sumita Saini, and cashier Rinku Yadav. The case was filed for causing a loss of Rs 60 lakh to the treasury.
