ABVP protests against DCP Duhan in Jodhpur; NSUI protests in RU

Jodhpur/Jaipur: In Jodhpur, ABVP workers are furious after DCP Amrita Duhan took the name of the organisation during a press conference in the case of gangrape of a minor girl at the hockey ground of Jai Narayan Vyas University. ABVP activists gheraoed the police commissioner’s office and staged a protest on Monday demanding the DCP to withdraw her statement.

Meanwhile an another case of rape case has been filed in Jodhpur’s Asopa wherein accusations have been levelled of rape on pretext of ensuring ticket from ABVP.

In Jaipur, National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) workers protested outside the Rajasthan University (RU) over the gangrape of a minor in Jodhpur. They laid down on the road in front of the university gate on Monday and raised slogans against ABVP. They even blocked the JLN road demanding that the gangrape culprits be hanged.

NSUI alleged that the culprits were associated with ABVP. NSUI national spokesperson Ramesh Bhati said that the culprits should be hanged as soon as possible by conducting hearing in fast track court.
