95 mining plots are ready for e-auction

Jaipur: The Mines Dept of State has performed brilliantly in this financial year. In minor minerals this year so far, 95 plots of 609.66 hectare area have been prepared by the department. 405 people have also been arrested in the campaign against illegal mining. Dr Subodh Agrawal, ACS, Mines Dept, took a review meeting of departmental activities through VC on Wednesday. He has instructed to prepare new plots for auction after studying possible points in coordination with geologists, mining engineers. Of these blocks of Minor Major, max 46 have been prepared in Bharatpur, 25 in Bhilwara, 9 in Rajsamand, 5-5 in Udaipur & Bikaner, 3 in Jodhpur & 2 in Jaipur. He informed that out of 193 RCC ERCC contracts, 130 contracts have been successfully auctioned and revenue of more than Rs 1,840 crore will be generated.
