8,869 questions received, 37 Bills passed in 8th Session of Raj Assembly

Jaipur: Rajasthan Assembly Speaker CP Joshi adjourned the 8th session of the 15th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly sine die on August 2. The first phase of the eighth session of the 15th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly began on January 23, which was adjourned sine die on March 21. Joshi resumed the second phase of the eighth session’s meetings from July 14, which was postponed indefinitely on August 02.

A total of 30 meetings were held in this session. During this, the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly went on for 215 hours and 20 minutes. In the first phase, the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly lasted for 174 hours 04 minutes and in the second phase, the proceedings lasted for 41 hours 16 minutes. In the eighth session, a total of 8869 questions were received from the members of the Legislative Assembly.
