630 mining plots to be auctioned from Dec 6

Jaipur: The Department of Mines has started the e-auction process of mining plots at 35 places in 21 districts of Rajasthan. Additional Chief Secretary (Mines) Dr Subodh Agarwal informed that the e-auction of 630 mining plots will take place from December 6 to February 17, 2023, through the eplatform of the Government of India. “The Mines Department has earmarked 630 plots for auction of minor minerals like granite, quartz, feldspar, sandstone, silica sand, masonry stone, china clay, and marble among others. As per the directions of CM Ashok Gehlot, legal mining is being promoted by auctioning mining plots in large numbers,” said ACS Dr Subodh Agarwal. “To maintain transparency & competition in auction, Mines Min Pramod Jain Bhaya has given instructions for large-scale publicity of e-auctioning process. Detailed info has been displayed on departmental website & Govt of India portal,” added Dr Agarwal.
