5 players of Rajasthan Shooting Ball in race for Asia Shooting Ball Championship

Jaipur: The 41st Senior National Shooting Ball Championship was held from December 25-27, 2022 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, in which Rajasthan won the silver medal in the men's category.

Rajasthan team captain Gurinder Singh, Vice-Captain Narendra Bhakar, Jaskirat Singh as reserve player, Muskan Kanthed and Shirin Khan (vice-captain) of Rajasthan women's team have been selected for the Asia Shooting Ball Championship.

Since this is the first time so many players from the Rajasthan Shooting Ball Senior Team have been selected, Rajasthan Shooting Association expressed happiness for a bright future of the players. Rajasthan officials expressed the hope that by bringing medals in Asia Shooting Ball, they will glorify the name and fame of  Rajasthan and India.

The Asian Shooting Championship will commence in Gaziabad On February 1-2, 2023

India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Malaysia are the countries participating in it.

Dr Machra informed that Senior Rajasthan team Captain Gurinder Singh was also selected last time for the Bangladesh test series which took place in Jawaharlal nehru statdium Delhi.

Gurinder Singh, Narendra Bhakar and Jaskirat singh are the native of Shri Ganganagar. From Rajasthan Women's Shooting team, Muskaan Kanthed was also selected last time for India- Bangladesh series.

On the selection of 5 players of Rajasthan Senior Shooting Ball Team in the Asia Championship, General Secretary of Rajasthan Shooting Ball Association Dr OP Machra and all the workers and senior players of the Shooting Ball Association expressed happiness by feeding them sweets and wishing for a bright future for these players.
