5 from Rajasthan in ISRO’s team for Chandrayaan-3

Jaipur: Sushmita Chowdhary, a resident of Shrinathpuram, Kota, had a major role in the Chandrayaan-3 team. She designed the trajectory of the launch vehicle. Anirudh Krishna Upadhyay of Bhilwara was also a part of team. Gold medalist in MTech from IIT Kanpur, Anirudh joined ISRO in 2020.

Vaibhav Upadhyay of Shahpura (Bhilwara) has also played an important role in launch of Chandrayaan-3. Son of retired education officer, Vaibhav is a senior scientist at ISRO & Project Manager in Mission Chandrayaan.

Sunita Khokhar of Didwana, has contributed in making of the sensor that was fitted in the Vikram lander. Dausa resident scientist Ashok Sharma is the senior controller in this campaign.
