5 die of dengue, 4 of scrub typhus in the State

Jaipur: Post rain, there has been a spike in seasonal diseases in the state. Five patients died of dengue in the last one-and-a-half-month, while around 2,000 new cases have been reported.

In August, one death due to dengue was reported while there are 683 positive cases. Meanwhile, there is a rise in dengue cases in Kota.

Besides, the cases of scrub typhus have also increased. Four people died due to scrub typhus and 1105 new cases have been identified.

The medical dept is also worried about the sudden rise in seasonal diseases. ACS Shubhra Singh is keeping an eye on cases district-wise.
