5 Bills passed in 23 minutes on last day

Jaipur: The Legislative Assembly on Wednesday passed 5 Bills with voice vote in 23 minutes. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Kumar Dhariwal presented the Rajasthan Electricity (Tariff) Bill-2023 Bill for consideration in the House. The Assembly also passed the Rajasthan State Farmers Debt Relief Commission Bill- 2023. Cooperative Minister Udai Lal Anjana presented the Bill in the House, after discussion on which the House passed the Bill with a voice vote. With this Bill, the banks will not be able to auction the land of farmers.

The Mahatma Gandhi Divyang University, Jodhpur Bill-2023 was also passed. Minister Tikaram Jully presented the Bill. The Rajasthan Tenancy (Amendment) Bill2023 presented by Revenue Minister Ramlal Jat and after discussion it was passed. The Nathdwara Temple (Amendment) Bill–2023 was presented by Devasthan Minister Shakuntala Rawat in the house.
