450 fall ill after eating prasad in Gangapur City

Jaipur: More than 450 people including children fell ill as diarrhea broke out due to carelessness in Annakoot Prasadi in Gangapur city on Wednesday. Surveillance team of three doctors was sent from Jaipur headquarters to Gangapur City who took samples from house to house in Nogama village.

Headquarters team installed POD in the village itself so that sick people should be treated. Out of these, 87 people were admitted to the hospital.

People’s health suddenly started deteriorating after 6 hours of prasadi, said Public Health Director Dr KL Meena said that on December 26.

Meena said that the headquarters team is currently taking samples from the entire area and it will be clear only after the report of the team about the situation.
