40 complaints received on 1st day, 6,500 tonnes masonry seized in Jpr

Jaipur: After a complaint against Senior Mining Engineer (SME) Pratap Meena and his team took a major action in Dayrampura near Bassi, Jaipur and seized 6500 tons of masonry stone. Action has been taken to seize large quantities of illegal minerals including 300 tonnes in Gotan and other places.

On Saturday, Mines Secretary Anandhi had a meeting with the officials to crackdown on illegal mining. Control room in-charge SK Sharma said that the people of the state are excited about the facility and are sharing information.

Association for Mineral Exploration (AME) Gotan Manoj Tanwar seized 300 tonnes of masonry stone in Riya Shyamadas.

Actions have been taken in Bijolia. A fine of Rs 32 lakh has been imposed in two cases in Jaleri Banjaran near Bijolia, two in Bhuti and one in Umaji.
