4 held for IPL betting, Rs 70L cash, cars seized
Jaipur: DST South and Muhana police station team arrested four miscreants red-handed for betting on IPL matches.
The police have seized a diary of accounts worth Rs 70 lakh from these miscreants. At the same time, the police have also seized Rs 4.5 lakh in cash and two luxury cars. As per DCP South Yogesh Goyal, the department was continuously receiving information about online and offline betting.
Instructions were given to all the police officers to take action against them. Information was received from the informer that betting is being done on cricket matches in the Muhana area. The police teams were sent to the spot to take action against the bookies. During this, the police found Kamlesh Sharma alias Kalyan, Sitaram Sharma alias CC, Lokesh, and Prem Kumar Sharma on the spot and arrested them.
