3rd day of ABVP protest at RU: Police called, workers arrested

Jaipur: The ABVP demonstration against Om Mahala continues for a third day at Rajasthan University. The workers shut both gates of the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, trapping employees inside.

Police were called in response to the ABVP protest. Upon reaching the scene, police forcibly removed the protesting students, resulting in a confrontation between police and ABVP workers. The Police used minimal force to chase away the protesting ABVP workers some of whom were injured in the process. During the police action, several ABVP workers were detained and taken to police station.
